In need of some advice.....

Have been sort of "dribbling" downstairs since lunchtime. Can sort of feel it seeping out. sorry if Tmi. Now using a pad, as a panty liner wasn't cutting it. Bit confused, is this my waters? Am 2 days over due.

Mainly clear, still getting the odd pinky mucusy bit mixed in, doesn't smell of anything. Just feeling constantly "damp" down there.

Any ideas? No Contractions or anything.... just dampness.

I think your waters are seeping and would recommend you call your MW. Bumping for someone more in the know than me though.

Not an expert but the fact that a panty liner wasn't enough really makes me think waters/show.

Personally I would just observe it and wouldn't say anything to midwives at this stage, but others may advise you otherwise.

PUt a pad in your knickers. Amniotic fluid is, I understand, quite sweet smelling and usually straw coloured (though if you're having a show at the same time, then that might explain the pinkish colour).

I had this with DS2, it was a combination of a show and my hind waters - ring your mw/delivery suite. Sounds like things are moving for you

pooka · 22/01/2009 18:47

Oh and definitely ring midwives. Keep pad as evidence

jabberwocky · 22/01/2009 18:49

that's the way it was when waters broke with ds1. Sounds like things are starting Agree with pooka, give them a call.

called MW. want to see me. off armed with pad as evidence!
