I was in the queue at the local shop behind 2 male friends. P who's girlfriend had their first child on saturday, was talking labour times and delivery along with breast feeding with D whose girlfriend delivered yesterday.
Everyone else in the queue was shocked as they are two of the most unlikely people to talk about things like that. I just thought that while strange for them, it was rather heartwarming.

It's amazing how babies can create Daddies, isn't it?!

isn't it the sweetest sight when you see dads in supermarkets, unshaven and looking shit TBH, with tiny, tiny babies and you just know ,fingers crossed, mum is having a bit of sleep.

Obviously mum has given dad strict instructions to be back no later than x no of hours after last feed, but at least .....

The other week, I saw a dad in our local supermarket with a baby in a sling. In his trolley he had newborn size nappies, toddler size nappies, pull-up training nappy pants, six two-litre bottles of Diet Coke and a giant jar of instant coffee.

Poor buggers!
