I'm only 33 weeks but have been in pain since the morning. I can only guess that I might be experiencing Braxton Hicks, have period-like pain, which I guess comes and goes, well, it hasn't gotten any worse or come more often. But since the morning I also have a really weird feeling down below, like I'm dragging a rock around that just sits, well, below, is the only way I can describe it. Assuming baby's head has engaged (since my heartburn has gone), I can't remember it being so painful with DD1. I can hardly walk as 'something' just sits there, like pressing on your bladder but not pressing on your bladder if that makes any sense?

Oh man, I can't take this another 7 weeks.... {fed up}

I had a similar sensation from about 32 weeks (I am now 39+5) with DC2. Intense braxton hicks that were verging on painful and seemed to come quite regularly and a feeling that the baby was going to fly out my fanjo at any minute! Accompanied by period like crampy feelings too..
I phoned the MW as I thought I might be in early labour and she got me to come in, she monitored me and they turned out to be Braxton H... apparently this is quite common in second and subsequent pregnancies. Still getting the same sensations at 39+.
I would phone your Midwife and check anyway..you never know... Good luck

Hi hkz - am so jealous of you. You've nearly done it, I CANNOT wait to have this baby out. Wish you a happy birth!
