This is a bit of a long shot and not sure if I am posting in the right area here!

My episiotemy scar has over the last 3 months become very uncomfortable dring the 1st two days of my period. Almost like a throbbing pulsing kind of pain in that area. It has been fine up untill this started and will be a year old in 2 weeks! Does anyone know if this is normal, or why it is happening! I havent been able to get a docs app for another week and a half so was just after some advise!

my scar always does this ....it lets me know when AF is on the way,you get used to it but if you find the pain unbearable i would visit your GP

Is it the dryness before a period? Maybe try some KY jelly in the area?
