Possible Prolapse womb

Hi

I am really worried. I had an elective C-sec in December on the 18th (my consultant told me I had to have a c-section because of my previous emergency crash section 2 years before for my first baby) so they went ahead and it all went well and I have not had any infections on the scar or internal like I had before and I am mobile and feeling ok.

But the doctor checked me out yesterday and said she was concerned as my womb is still up as high as my navel and i have a pouchy droopy area now above the scar about the size of a pear ... not the overhang you get normaly with the c-sec this is seperate. She wants me back next week to see if its going down anymore or if its still there.

I am in a panic now I only wanted 2 kiddys and I have that now but I only wanted 2 as both grandmothers and my mother and my auntie have all had to have hysterectomy's by the time they were in their 40's and although I am only 27 at the moment I an so worried they will want to do one on me, as the reasons they did them on my mum and nan's were because of prolapses .. is there anything else they will sugesst that i can do other than surgery? has anyone else had this?

I am really sorry Emski, I have no advice.
Hopefully someone who knows about this will come along and be able to give you some helpful advice.

It must be quite a scary time for you right now!
