At long last I can sit,read and keep my own copy of the notes.
Had a few wordes with the midwife too, so some points already put to rest.
So hopefully can put this to bed now.

how do you go about getting your notes. Do you need a reason or do you just request them under access to information act?

Yes, I'd love to know that too. Have thought many times it would help to read through mine but haven't explored how you go about getting them.

I got a nice nurse to photocopy mine along with DS's when we transferred to a children's hospital...they make interesting reading even if everything went to plan!

Confused.
i went home with mine (or are there even more?) and they stayed with me at home until I was discharged from m/w care.

They do moondog, but the notes that go with the actual birth are usually never given to you, I just meant that those particular notes are very interesting!
