At long last I can sit, read and keep my own copy of the notes.
Had a few wordes with the midwife too, so some points already put to rest.
So hopefully can put this to bed now.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mamadadawahwah · 29/03/2005 13:02

how do you go about getting your notes. Do you need a reason or do you just request them under access to information act?

Jodiesmum · 29/03/2005 13:09

Yes, I'd love to know that too. Have thought many times it would help to read through mine but haven't explored how you go about getting them.

fastasleep · 29/03/2005 13:12

I got a nice nurse to photocopy mine along with DS's when we transferred to a children's hospital...they make interesting reading even if everything went to plan!

moondog · 29/03/2005 13:14

Confused.
i went home with mine (or are there even more?) and they stayed with me at home until I was discharged from m/w care.

fastasleep · 29/03/2005 13:16

They do moondog, but the notes that go with the actual birth are usually never given to you, I just meant that those particular notes are very interesting!

lilsmum · 29/03/2005 13:17

MistressMary · 29/03/2005 13:18
