Difference in Lindo Consultants; Theo and Murphy

Hi. Am new to mumsnet, this is my first post! I have very recently discovered I'm pregnant and having read the posts earlier about the Lindo Wing (where I want to go) I've phoned already to try to book in early. Good news, both Murphy and Theo are available. I know they are both v v good but not sure how I would choose between the two; what I should look for etc?
We miscarried a few months ago and I know I'll need a bit of a gentle bedside manner but gather they are both good. If any one can tell me any differences, or at least help me understand what I should look out for I would be most grateful. Dinkyxxx

Welcome. Am bumping for you in the hope that someone else might have some advice.
And congratulations.

Teoh has looked after me for 2 pregnancies and he is fantastic. I do not know Murphy, but he has a fabulous reputation and two of my close friends are looked after by him and love him. It is too difficult to distinguish between the two - they are the best you can get. You are lucky if you are with either of them in my opinion!!

I am currently with Mr Murphy for my second pregancy. He was wonderful during the first and I'm totally happy with the care. I agree with Madigan though - both have excellent reputations so I'm sure you'll be fine whomever you end up with.

Thank you ladies. Really appreciate your comments. It seems Teoh is off for the three key days when I may be due so it looks like it is Murphy

Ahh .. I should have mentioned that dates can be quite important! TBH I was praying this baby wouldn't be due in August as I know Mr Murphy is off then! (Just scraped by - July 22nd!) Anyway, he is wonderful - you are in the best hands.
