if you have previously had a CS, and have a second, where do they make the incision? is it above, below or on the original scar? or does it depend on how yuo healed first time around?
thanks.

In the same place IME

I have had 3 and they always used the same place so I only have one scar.

ahh! i wasn't sure if the sacr tissue was too difficult or thick of something. my current scar is so tiny and unobtrusive, it'd be pretty impressive to have it i nteh same place.

No problem

I think mine maybe got a bit longer each time, but only a tiny bit.

My 1st was an emergency so the scar is curved and more visible. The 2nd was planned, so is a much neater, straighter and fainter (even though it's almost 3 yrs more recent) scar, and just below the 1st.

Mine is in exactly the same place and didn't get any larger or longer.

same place for me, hidden beautifully by the overhang though!!!!!!!!

I think the idea is to have one scar externally but then they cut the uterus in a different place. I have one external scar...is very neat and invisible but apparently 2 scars on my uterus, separated by more than 15cm - found out that useless piece of info when having some gynae invesitigations. Apparently, it lessens the chance of the uterine scar rupturing.
