hallo lovely ladies,

just a little advice please? does the "mucus plug" thingy always come out in one big bloody blob??? I'm due in a couple of days, & today have lost rather large amounts of what v def looks like thick mucus (really sorry for TMI!!!) though in small quantities each time I go to the loo rather than all at once. No blood to be seen, though, or even pinkishness? Also got accompanying tummy cramps.

Could this be the show, or should I be worried?

x

Yup, sounds like a show. If it looks like snot than that's it.

You still could have a while as with ds2 I started losing mine at 37 weeks and he was born at 39 weeks. If it turns pink or red it's a sign that labor will happen soon. Ds2 was born less than 24 hours after my bloody show started.

what MKG said. although does not neccesarily mean labour is imminent. although tummy cramps sound hopeufl

keep going about your business, rest ,eat, drink, and your body will let you know when you need to pay attention

I was just thinking of the best way to describe the two shows I have had. First was a bit dischargey and pink, the second was very much snot like and kept coming and coming and coming, so agree with MKG if it looks like snot then you have had your show.
