Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

you could always collect it in nipple shields and give it to your ds.

Mine went on for months. It stopped on it's own but it did take a long time.

And it depends, mesaloca, on why she isn't breastfeeding.

Have you tried binding your breasts? This is what midwives used to suggest in the past to suppress milk production.

PortlySackSantaInAdvent · 17/12/2008 17:32

I think you can get tablets from your GP - they used to be called 'salt tablets' but that was a misnomer.

mad4mybaby · 17/12/2008 18:32

what would you bind with? bandages? any idea how long for?

You use a cloth binder - a piece of sheeting would do, quite wide so the edges aren't digging into your breasts.

I've actually found a picture of a commercial one on a US site - never seen this being sold here.

If you do this, keep your eye on any sore bits - you don't want to end up with mastitis.

you could use lillypadz. they are like silicone rubber , flat, so discreat. they push the nipple back in a bit to stop the leaking. and go on the pill. as the hormones can stop milk production.
