Hi

Found out yesterday head was fully engaged, was wondering what all that pressure and pains were the nite b4!
Just wondering how long it would take for labour to kick in, DR reckons by the end of the weekend or next week some time. I'm just getting impatient now.

Sorry gem, but with ds1 his head was engaged 2 or 3 weeks before my EDD and he was then 6 days late.

Is this your first baby?
When are you due?

With ds1, similar to emmatmg. The head was engaged at approx 36-37 weeks. Ds1 was 9 days late. Sorry.

It could be anytime now then but honestly, I wouldn't hold out much hope for the Doctors prediction.

Sorry again.

I remember the feeling well.

If it makes you feel any better (which I doubt it will )when I was PG with Ds3 and the stage you are I physically could not roll over in bed. I had to get out and get in facing the other way, my hips would grind, pop, crack and creek if I tried and it was stomach churning.

gem I know just how you feel!
I was desperate for ds to be born, but he was 2 weeks late (head engaged too!)

I miss being pregnant now, even though by the end I was utterly sick of it and couldn't do anything cos it hurt!!! LOL

good luck though, and hope it starts off soon!

Emmatmg Know the feeling of not being able to turn over with out getting up.

Had a few BH this morning just wish was the real thing. Would love to have a soak in the bath, but have trouble getting out so a quick shower had to do!

DD1 was 2/5ths engaged at 33 weeks and didn't arrive until a hefty dose of chemicals brought her out at week 42!
