Sigh. How long can this go on? Does it mean anything?

I am 40+5 and for the second night have been regularly woken up by period type pains - last night they were coming every half hour but now seem to have died away a bit. I have also had quite a lot of dark brown mucousy discharge yesterday morning, yesterday evening and this morning. Is this leading anywhere, does anyone think? Right now I just feel uncomfortable and frustrated...

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes definitely leading somewhere! Hang in there! Perhaps you are slowly dilating, fingers crossed for a quick labour when it gets started properly.

Thanks Wade -- I guess this is the slow way that you get over your labour aversion and just pray to God it to hurries up!
