Pain in fanjo where urethra is. Any advice?

I've had an EL CS 4 weeks ago and had sex with DH after 2 weeks. I still feel like a born again virgin down there and it's extremly uncomfortable during intercourse.

The first 3cm are fine but when he goes in more it gets really tight and fels like it's painfully rubbing along the inside of my fanjo where the urethra is and the in-out movement just makes it worse.

We've had sex twice on a good amount of fine red wine and lube but I just ca't bear the thought of trying again.

Is this normal? Is this a Urethrocele (prolapse of the urethra)? What can I do? I'm not in agony or anything, it's just a rasping, squeezing feeling. It started at around 34 wks of pregnancy and is still there. I have carried quite heavy stuff (6kg cat litter bags) repeatedly and walked loads, also had bad SPD, ...

That's quite early to be trying to have sex, imo (and ime). If it hurts - don't do it! If you must have sex, avoid penetration - try other things first.

I don't think the penis normally has contact with the urethra, so it does sound a bit alarming. Does everything still feel ok down there to your hand (or look ok to your DH's eye?)

Any chance you have a UTI?

I'd mention it in your 6-week check up ...

Thanks a lot, NQC. Yes, maybe I was over enthusiastic of getting back on the horse.

I've just come back from the doc and he says all well and no prolapse but still not all in right place and it's been just 28days.

He thinks it's hormones and I should use lube...hmmm... Oh well, I prefer sleep to sex anyway at the moment

As well you should! Get some rest!

Foreplay is better for you than lube, tbh ...

Sounds very similar to me. I also found that I was tense (try to relax those muscles - yeah right !). With lots of lube and we are trying week by week, it is getting easier. I did have a couple of stitches up there though. Know what you mean, by born again virgin - feel like maybe they sewed me up a bit too well ! My urethra feels quite uncomfortable at times. I have never used lube before. It's brilliant stuff.

Thanks a lot for the kind words you two. Will try to wait after 6 wk check and see if it gets any better.
