Hi Ive been looking into doing my doula training but was just checking first if it was worth it.
Its something ive wanted to do for a while now but worried people are not using them.
Would you have one at your birth?

I am one and there are lots of others on here! Going on the right course is important IMHO. Take a look at Doula Uk

Yes, and did. She was wonderful and made a huge difference to my birth experience

We had one she was mid training. She was very supportive in the run up but we did not find her particlularly helpful during the actual labour. She was sweet but not particularly useful.

Yes

My friend had one and has recommended - I am serious considering it. She said the most useful was the weeks after the birth.

I found that I was relaxed in the run up and during early labour (when I panicked most last time) because I had a doula on call.

Anxiety was my biggest enemy and she greatly reduced this just by being booked iyswim!
