I want to have my second baby by C-Section due to a traumatic birth first time around. What are my chances; what are my rights?

Might depend on what made it traumatic, my first ended up an emergency section so they were the ones suggesting a elective second time.

It was a tough v-birth.

Some hospitals will let you have an elective section - given that you understand the risks that you are taking on (and those that you are leaving behind by opting not for a vb). Others I know are not so obliging and need there to be a specific medical need for section - or tell you which hospitals will let you have an elective. I think it's a shame, women should be able to chose how they deliver their babies, we should be given the information and our desires respected universally.
