Had two nights of crap unproductive contractions and this morning they have turned into proper ones - every 5 mins lasting a minute. DD and dogs are now at my Mum's and I am trying to get going with my hypnosis for childbirth stuff.

Midwife just left so that I can have some rest, 3 cms so far but can stretch to 6 - so hopefully not too long to go Starting to feel teary..

Good luck. I always visualised swooshing down a ski slope when I was doing my hypnobirthing during labour. And lovely warm sunny beaches.

Get some rest and try to eat something - Pasta is good as it will give you energy.

Good Luck, hope it all goes well.

Pasta is good until it comes back up as I found out 13 days ago I was 4cm but stretched to 6 at 5pm and DD was born at 9.36 so it shouldn't be too long for you now

It's very exciting

Zachary was born at 2.58pm after a 3.5hr second stage, weighed in at 9lbs 13oz only one stitch
