had my second c section on 2nd sept. still getting minute amounts of red bleeding but last tuesday had a cupful gush out of me at once. went back to labour ward and spent 5 hours having bloods sorted for infection all fine. feel great otherwise except tenderness in tummy. should i worry that it's new blood? its only enough to see when i wipe (apart from the gush) and doesn't even reach the pad.

Why is it happening? would be great to put my mind at rest. Have stopped doing most things but have a 3 and 5 year old so can't stop completely. Other peole doing school run for me at mo.

I had this, thought everythign was stopping and then woosh, generally when I was doing too much. What were you doing?

that's what im presuming/hoping. last bleed was after empyting dishwasher. the gush - which was really scary was being driven to watch dd1 swimming lesson. had done very little immediately prior but in days leading up to it had started taking kids to school etc. now given up again.

with this cs could get up and down stairs really easily and have been bounding - well for me - with cs1 couldn't do that and all was painful. maybe have torn internally a little?

Also tmi but when i try and do a poo there is a bit of blood. mainly am concerned as it is bright red.

I had this too - was me doing too much.

No bounding upstairs, you!

No clots? Where's the pain?

Bleeding with poo is probably just a bit of straining/piles etc.

I think it's probably fine as long as it still is 'minute amounts'. Anything happening when you feed?

I bled for six bloomin' weeks after my first CS. Really started to get me down. Got to have another one with no.2 as it's so soon after DS1 and not looking forward to that aspect of it. Did always get worse when I pushed things just that little bit too hard as well...SO REST UP !!

manitz · 29/09/2008 10:55

thank you all. not been on as been RESTING and not made it to library. saw hv on fri who said, yeah, and? that'll be your uterus contracting. still happening but ignoring unless lots of blood, just spotting at mo.

feel a bit of a prat as is 3rd baby but you know...

how soon after tt? had vbac with no 2 and there was 23 month gap but felt had healed brilliantly. wouldn't risk it after this one. if i get my no4 i'll be cut open and zipped up again and await the paranoia.
