Im after plain knee length strappy nightie for labour. Ive tried buying normal cheap ones from M&S but too tight across bump and going to big and my boobs are hanging out as going up in normal size just too big.

There are some on mothercare but these are too long, ive been told they are knee length to calf depending on your height and im only short!

Can anyone help? I dont want to wear a tshirt as to get it to fit over bump im covered up in tshirt from ankles to wrists and i got far too hot last time. Oh and no i wont go naked!

Also I would avoid anything with a high neck like a t-shirt as if you were anything like me I was sweating buckets and the last thing you need is something round your neck irritating you! Bad enough with the dad there !!!

nothing that might wear again because chances are you won't! therefore spend as little as poss (primark? M&S value?)..

I bought 2 oversized sleep-shirt type things from Asda, they were about £2 each, one I wore for labour which went straight in the bin, and the other one I wore after Id showered and then threw that away the next day too.
IMHO just buy the biggest, cheapiest, nastiest thing you can find, then you dont care how messy it gets because you can just chuck it.
Ditto old pair of slippers or cheap flip flps to wear in hospital, I just threw mine before I came home then

I got some bf pjs from blooming marvellous which are designed to fit post baby belly in and bump iyswim. They had strappy sleeves and a cardigan which you can take of if you get too warm/put back on once its over. I didn't wear bottoms at all.

good luck!

I gave birth naked in the birthing pool.

I did buy a primark nightie ...nice and cheap but as soon as my midwife (male!) opened the door and walked in i was naked, that was without any pain relief.
It jus gets so hot and I didnt really care at that point, I felt better being natural!!
