hiya,

I have to have a c section week after next and want to take arnica. Does anybody know when I should start taking it, is it before the op or after and how long should I take it for?

Also the pharmacist in Boots said she didn't know if it would affect breastfeeding, does anybody know?

Thanks for any help!

I took it after both my sections and had no bf problems. I mentioned to my midwife I was taking it and she said that it was fine and a good idea - I'm sure she would have said something if it was contra-indicated for bf.
