Planning a homebirth - what have I missed?

So far I've got

  • Two large waterproof sheets to protect the floor.
  • Birthing pool
  • Tens machine
  • Pile of soft, dark coloured towels
  • arnica
  • oils for massage
  • pampers disposable changing mats in case they don't bring enough inco pads
  • mirror
  • sieve
  • snacks and drinks for everyone.
  • raspberry leaf tea for me
  • bottle of bubbly to toast baby afterwards.

angle poise lamp, important if they need to do stitching afterwards, or insert a catheter (unusal for a home birth, but that happened to me).

Foxytocin - I got to 37 weeks yesterday, so I'm happy that if I give birth now, I should be able to have a home birth. But I don't think anything is going to happen just yet with me. How are you?

still pg Belgo. I needed dh home last wkend it turns out. Because he was here I could nap and it turned out that on Sat and Sunday I had over 2 hrs sleep each time.

I am now 39+ wks so anytime now is good. baby, are you listening?
