Morning Misdee

Don't have any direct experience myself (38 wks preg with 1st) but learnt in recent parentcraft class that this can be one of the signs that labour is about to start. Sorry can't help with question about diarlyte.

Good luck!!!

It is a common thing to have diahorrea before labour starts.

misdee · 19/02/2005 09:19

I've heard this one too - saves all the embarassing mess during birth I suppose. Never happened to me cos I was induced both times. Good luck misdee, hope it all goes well.

wordsmith · 19/02/2005 09:55

sorry- the embarassing mess did happen, the clear out prior didn't. Just thought I'd clear that up. whoops!

Had it with both of mine in early stages of labour. Thank god as I would've hated it to happen during!

pupuce · 19/02/2005 19:30

Any progresss Misdee?

Newbarnsleygirl · 19/02/2005 19:33

I had this. It started about midnight with me for a couple of hours and then my contractions started 7 hours later.

I was shaking as well but I think alot of that was nerves. I could'nt keep water down or anything.

Fingers crossed for you!

LGJ · 19/02/2005 19:35

I was induced...............

I then proceeded to have what the Americans politely call back labour.

I pooed for every body on the whole ward (and probably their visitors) every ten minutes for several hours.

beansprout · 19/02/2005 20:06

Best of luck Misdee - hope it all goes well!

Titania · 19/02/2005 20:08

pupuce · 19/02/2005 20:26

LGJ - a back labour is something else

cat82 · 19/02/2005 20:32

ImuststopdrinkingBlossomhill · 19/02/2005 20:33
