Head engaged- labour?

Hi, does anyone know....
Once the head is down /engaged ..how long until labour starts?

I have elective C-sect booked 2nd march(will be 38+5) and have been told that the head was down about a week ago.

I am getting nervous, i thinl, becuase my friend wasnt due until 25th Feb and gave birth this morning (healthy 6lb 10 boy) !!

doesnt mean a thing. head engaged with dd1 at 36 weeks, went full termwith her.

I'm 33weeks and babys head has been engaged since 32 weeks and no sign of labour!
