ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh

thats all I can say, doesn't bear thinking about.

Does she have any help nearby.

juniperdewdrop · 13/02/2005 19:28

I know I've just been looking at the pics of her and ds that were sent by email. She looks radiant but they were taken straight away so she wouldn't know. I'm so very sad for her as she's a total angel. She has a lot of support through our church but no family close by. One mutual friend had the same thing and it took 6 months to heal I didn't really know that mate when she was going through this.

Sounds awful (thank God I didn't know about this sort of thing when I was pg). However, wouldn't mind being on enforced bed rest for a week or two. Anyone know how else I could split my pelvic bone in two?
Juniperdewdrop, is she at home or in hospital? Can they send round a district nurse type person to help?

juniperdewdrop · 13/02/2005 19:32

she's at home and had him here too. Her dh said he's looking into help that may be available.

Ooooh my eyes are watering. Poor Poor girl.

Lonelymum · 13/02/2005 19:33

I really hope they find something.

Didn't mean to be insensitive when I suggested I could do with some bed rest too. (But I could).

PuffTheMagicDragon · 13/02/2005 19:34

Your poor friend. She's going to need some serious looking after.

biglips · 13/02/2005 19:36

oooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!, how could that happen?

tillykins · 13/02/2005 19:36

that sounds horrendous - I have never heard of it, your poor friend

Is there any treatment or is it a case of rest till it heals? And will it heal as good as new?

biglips · 13/02/2005 20:00

possibly was a big baba !!

juniperdewdrop · 13/02/2005 20:02

he was only 7.14 but she is petite. It is very rare apparently thank God so don't any pg mums get worried.

She is going to need loads of support, so is her dh.
