Period pain contractions

Has anyone else had constant period pains as well as contractions in early labour?

Do the period pains let up or is it gonna be like this throughout now?

They are the worst period pains I have ever had and I just feel that it would all be so much more bearable if it were just the contractions...

any similar experiences?

My first labour, they were period pains all the way through, until they broke my waters.

contractions are like bad period pains for many people. The cramping pain goes hand in hand with the contracting unfortunately.
Just remember each contraction is one over with and you are one step closer to meeting your lovely baby xx
Warm bath helped my aching pains

My labour started with period pains. I think it is quite normal.

Have you taken some paracetamol? Maybe have a warm bath, will ease it a little.

If you are getting constant pain, they say you should get it checked out as you shoulnd't be feeling it continuously. I'm just a novice though so I could be wrong but it was just something the MW told me.
