I was induced with my 1st so took 3 days but was ok in the end, my 2nd was a txt book labour started in the morning born at 4 am ne xt morning with full on labour lasting about 7 hours. So will my 3rd be as my husband predicts like a rat out of a drainpipe? Some people who have 3 + children have told me your 3rd is more painful. Is this true?

My midwife told me the 3rd is the wild card, and will either be your best or your worst. She claimed there is no shades of grey with third labour.

I had a medical c section for no. 3 so no help at all I'm afraid! (Although I did start labour spontaneously 2.5 weeks early and was 6 cm dilated by time I got to hospital so am guessing it would have been fast)

Good luck!
