Feeling really sore and swollen 'down there'

Hiya

Overdue by about 3-4 days now (going by our dates) and feeling very sore/tender/swollen down there. Almost like everything is closing up? IS this normal?

Spoke to docs last week about pain and she just brushed it off as normal pregnancy pain after making it worse by pushing down on babies head on my pelvis. (She was 4/5 on friday)

Any clues?

I'm the same - Very swollen - I feel like I have elephantiasis of the undercarriage . No tenderness though. Are you tender inside? Could you have thrush?

No doesn't appear to be thrush...seems to have calmed down today.......after spending the entire night feeling like my waters had broken and back pain on and off like no-ones business.

Hoping that something my be starting (especially as DH is at this moment driving halfway up ther country and will take about 4 hours to get back if I do go into labour)

Joy..............
