sill realy sore and imflammes down below 17 days after birth...when will it go?

With DD1 I remember being sore for only a couple of weeks and thats with a few stitches.

With DD2 I am still imflammed/bruised down below and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Have put witch hazel gel etc on it, but still no cure! Arrrggghhh....good job DD2 is the last.

Anyone else gone through similar?

Thanks will discuss with midwife on wed. have taken arnica and witchhazel gel has been sparingly used on the area.
