Sweep totally useless on DD1, DD2 born on her due date 36 hours after sweep. Think had favourable cervix both times.

Oh that sounds very familiar.

My midwife left saying, well your not very favourable tbh so we may come and do another sweep in a few days.

I had the baby at teatime that day!

is this a first baby? might be a few more days yet..

your cervix needs to be soft, short, at the front ( anterior) dilating, and the baby engaging.. that means you are 'ripe' i.e if you were induced it would most likely be succesful

the score is out of ten, so 3 is not very ripe, but you are on the way

try to relax and remember a full term pregnancy can be 42 weeks
