Lots of pain this evening, a show and now kind of bearable but pretty painful contractions (mainly in my back) for 15 secs every 5mins or so for last hour and a half...

It's second baby and am due tomorrow... If it was daytime I'd prob ring/go in but am reluctant to ring my mum (to come and look after toddler) in the middle of the night if they are gonna send me home anyway.

Got a feeling am being a wimp and that I should just try and get some sleep and deal in the morning (don't THINK it will have gone away - think this is it but could be wrong of course...)

but how? recommended positions?!! have taken paracetamol but not really done owt.

OWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers, will be trying all those I am sure (think a walk n sex worked last time - not together ). So off for a walk now (although keep getting random shooting pains in groin/legs that make me buckle). Feeling a bit better now it's all gone 'normal-waiting-for-contractions' again rather than Lots of Pain For No Reason...

Thanks for your comments too! Am trying to stay positive and hope that it's all progressing (just v v v v slowly - why can't I be one of those pop 'em out in an hour ladies? Oh yeah, cos I want an epidural so prob good if time on my side )

Well, chickened out of the walk (as attempted to go upstairs and nearly fell over the pain was so bad - not sure what THAT's abotu). And no pineapple but curry good.

Contractions have started again (they are SO painful but so short) so will keep an eye over the next couple of hours...

Anyone else labouring out there?
