WMMC is finally having a baby!!!!

On Wednesday by cs. Have confirmed PET again and have been in hospital since Friday. All plans were summarily dumped but ds is hanging in there.

Went into labour once but things stopped as soon as entered delivery suite. tad annoying after four hours of cx every 5 mins. But ce la vie.

Will try and get some pics up Weds.

Am busy trying to convince myself that surgical stockings are Britney chic

ooh, i remember those surgical stockings well , and with the open backed gown......so very chic

sorry about the PET and things not going to plan for your VBAC but at least they are keeping an eye on you both. Wishing you calm thoughts for Wednesday and get quaffing the arnica tablets in the meantime.

WMMC- so sorry to hear that indeed PET did finally strike again I have to say the similarity of your pregnancy with my last pregnancy is quite scary, both 2nd pregnancies after severe PET in 1st, and similar BP 'blips' after 32 weeks, in & out of hospital, will we won't we be getting PET, then finally PET happened... But like you I made it over 36 weeks and now my gorgeous DD is a 1 yo, and the whole thing inc. the c-section wasn't anywhere near as 'traumatic' as my first birth experience- so I am hoping that your cs will also be a calmer event and you too will get to cradle your DS straight away. Everything will be fine. I think the hardest part in a way for me was letting go of my VBAC dream (she says, still thinking maybe someday we'll get there!!).
