Will a GCSE in Health and Social care be any use to me if I want to be a doula?

The local college are running a course which looks quite interesting and I can do it in the evenings, but it's £132 which we can't afford unless it is actually going to be useful to me.

thanking you muchly

(sorry for posting in childbirth, btw, thought it was the quickest way to catch your eye )

I'm planning on doing the doula course in a year or so when ds is at school - there isn't an evening one near me and I can't get out much during the day.

I was just thinking of working towards it at the moment...
