Weekly for 4 weeks nothing worked. Was considering dynamite. 3am Emerdale reruns worked for me

God, don't do it. You will end up on the loo, contracting, wanting to throw up while it all comes painfully out the other end, trying to wipe your arse between contractions and getting tangled up in the wires of the fricking tens machine.

That was after a hot thai curry anyway.

littleboyblue · 06/07/2008 19:58

I had hot curry twice a week and it did nothing. baby will come when good and ready, try not to put yourself through too much to start it all.

rockinmum · 06/07/2008 20:02

lol....no danger of the wires problem, not using a tens machine.

Been getting pains on and off ofr days now but whenever I discuss it with midwife Iget told it is 'tendons stretching around bump'. Fat lot a good that is.
Originally due June 27th but hospital pushed it back to Augsut 17th (not a chance as husband wasn't here for allof november and preg test done on halloween so apparently clearblue are also psychic by 28 days lol)

Doctor measured bump 4 weeks bigger than midwife and she still won't accept that she might be wrong. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Just been feeling really crappy over last few days, keep being sick and getting intermitant backache and cramps.

Hopefully she'll be here soon. DH is due back at work tomorrow after a week off and our lift to the hospital crashed their car today (not serious enough to be off the orad or in hospital so all well) but sods law dictacts that baby will show her face tonight.

Doesn't it????????????????????

(someone please say that yes I do have sods law on my side?)

I had a hot curry when DS was overdue, but it had no effect whatsoever. However I usually have a curry once a week anyway, so maybe I'm immune to the possible inducive effects of curry (?).
Also bought 2 pineapples as they were on special offer. Had one that day, and the other one the next day. Still nothing happened.
DS finally came 15 days after his due date, after being induced.
