9 weeks pp started bleeding pink watered down blood yesterday and woke up today with a lot of red blood in the toilet and every time I wipe. Is this period?

I’m in a panic, I know your first period after birth can be a lot different to how it normally is but there is a lot of bright red blood. Started as pink watered down yesterday and this morning I went to the toilet and literally felt it, a lot of bright red blood in the toilet and when I wiped. No soaking through a pad an hour but I’ve been wiping say every 20 mins and there’s a lot of blood. I’m worrying.
what was your first period like after birth. I’m bottle feeding and had a vaginal delivery.
Also had some form of rage over the past few days

Sounds pretty normal to me. As long as you aren’t passing lots of clots or extremely heavy bleeding, which it doesn’t sound like. My periods were permanently altered after DC1 (for the better in my case).

Sounds like a totally normal 1st period after child birth.

First few can be heavy, painful etc.
I ff 2 of my dc. Got my period at 5 weeks pp.

Just sounds like a period? I've never had one where if I wiped there wasn't bright red blood.

It could well be - despite breastfeeding my periods started back as normal after both of mine were born

I don’t normally have heavy periods, they normally are quite light and a darker blood. But this bleeding is quite heavy and bright red blood. I mean I’m sure if it’s something to worry about I’d be in more pain than this? As a first time mum I just don’t know what to expect.
