Third birth, second induction

Wondering has anyone had 3 (or more) births with this pattern? First was induced, 41 weeks. Second was spontaneous, 40+3. I'm expecting to be induced at 38 weeks this time due to baby's huge size, and wondering what to expect.

First birth was intense! OP baby, hyperstimulation following induction, epidural & all the pain relief, assisted delivery, 7 hours start to finish.

Second was an easy spontaneous birth, and if it was safe I'd do it again in a heartbeat. 29 hours of labour, slow ramp up, unmedicated and unassisted.

Since they were so different, and I'm a planner, I'm wondering if there's any rhyme or reason to what I can expect?

Third babies have a reputation for being “tricky” but that’s definitely not always the case! You’ve had two babies before so hopefully it’ll be a straightforward induction, they might even be able to break your waters straight away and avoid the lead up to that bit.

Have you seen the spinning babies website? There are lots of suggestions of exercises on there to help baby get into the best position for labour, which can sometimes be tricker the more babies you’ve had.
