Has anyone felt unwell from 33 weeks, I’ve had dizzyness, feeling week, brain fog, breathlessness and some heart palpitations I have been to triage checked over bloods and ecg but it’s all come back normal so not any further forward to why I keep feeling like this, now 35 weeks and it’s still happening having a sleep or a lucozade helps at the time but then it happens again some days up to 5 times in the one day.
i also have had a few bleeding episodes and reduced movements.
i have a consultant appointment this week for mode of delivery and was wondering if anyone has been induced at 37/38 weeks because of something like this? And I’m struggling so going to ask and see

I would take some floradix in case it’s due to anaemia.

I already take iron tablets 3 times a week, my levels are sitting right on the baseline at 11.1

Floradix is much better absorbed than the tablet and works quickly.

Did the hot weather make it worse?

I’ll ask the consultant this week if I can have that and it didn’t I stayed inside most of time though with fan on

If your iron is on the low side it's almost certainly down to that. The value ranges are averages so realistically for some people that bottom figure would be too low so that could be the case for you. It also sounds like low blood pressure symptoms? I struggled with low blood pressure during late pregnancy with all mine, like a PP said the hot weather made this ten times worse and I had similar symptoms what you're describing. I had to make sure I drank sooooo much fluid and eat very regularly to help otherwise I would so quickly get faint and dizzy with it.

That being said, the reduced movements alone is a serious consideration and I didn't have any concerns about my baby so completely different to your situation.

Yeah they checked my blood pressure and all was okay, I’ve started taking electrolytes and eating little and often to try help, along with my 3 iron tablets a week which I’ve been taking since 16 weeks

Yes! I developed obstetric Cholestasis at 32 weeks, an irritable uterus at 33 weeks with assessments for preterm labour at 34 and 35 weeks. I developed severe and extreme fatigue where I was needing 4 or 5 naps a day and struggled to stay awake more than an hour at a time. I had two admissions to hospital because of this. I was having regular blood tests and they couldn't find the cause.
At 36+2 weeks my blood tests started to show signs of hellp and they retested me at 36+5 which showed the icp was getting worse. I had phone call with my Obstetrician at 36+3 where we discussed bringing my induction forward. It was due to be at 38 weeks because of the Cholestasis she said she would book me in after seeing me in person the following week although after seeing my bloods a few days later she decided there was no point waiting and I was asked to come in for induction the following day at 36+6.
There wasn't room on the induction ward so they did a sweep, repeated bloods which were no worse so I was induced the next day instead and baby was born the day after at 37+1.

I really wish I had asked about being induced at the appointment at 36+3. I'm 8 months pp and still not recovered and they don't quite know what is going on. My iron is low and was dropping without supplements but only static with supplements. I'm still having 1-2 naps a day and feeling lousy
