Question about Elective C section and being sterilised at the same time

How much longer does the sterilisation bit take after the baby is out and will it take longer to get over the op?

I have one booked for 4 August and forgot to ask the Consultant the above question!

Higher risk of failure when done at the same time as a cs. About 1 :400 I think. Also it involves a bit more tugging about so although does not take too much longer it can cause you to be sorer afterwards.
