VBAC after section

Hi guys, I had an emergency section with my first. I did not go into natural labour, I was induced which ended in section.

Just wondering if anyone who has gone on to have a second baby has gone into natural labour with no medical intervention?

Yes I did. It was 18 years ago. I had to speak to the midwife about the NICE guidance about being allowed to try for a VBAC as initially I was told I had to have another c section. However, in the end I was supported in the end. There was no medical intervention needed for my second birth.

Not me but my friend had a planned c.section with her first and a natural labour and vaginal delivery with her second - baby was even born on its due date!

Yes, I did. Was booked in for c section and went into labour a few hours before. All fine!

Btw, VBAC stands for vaginal birth after cesarean so you don't need to say VBAC after section 🙂
