Chinese Gender Predictor - did it work for you?

TrixieVix · 12/06/2008 21:25

Have been doing a poll at work to see how many of pepople this worked for, and out of 40 women (guess we were bored today!!) it was correct for 37 of them!

It was correct for me, and just wondered how many people found it worked for them too?

Sorry if this has been asked before....

Wrong both times (unless DD2 suddenly sprouts a penis before her birth).

bluenosesaint · 12/06/2008 21:38

Correct first two times, wrong third time ...

slinkiemalinki · 13/06/2008 21:54

Wrong first time ; right second.
So 50% then - same as anyone!

kyme · 30/06/2008 06:09

wrong

PortAndLemon · 30/06/2008 08:32

Right first time, wrong second time

PortAndLemon · 30/06/2008 08:38

It's blatantly not "Chinese", either (at least not in its current form) -- the Chinese calendar is lunar so January, February, etc. are meaningless. Also, as I understand it, your Chinese age is based on how many lunar years you've been alive for part of, so that a baby who is a few weeks old can be officially two.

Hersetta · 30/06/2008 12:09

Wrong for me.

UnquietDad · 30/06/2008 12:18

Oh, I love this

It's been wrong about 50% of the time and right about 50% of the time. What, you don't mean... drum roll... about the same as random guesswork would be??

Well

NO

SHIT

SHERLOCK!!

And people wonder why I bang the drum for rationalism around here...

WidgetWB · 30/06/2008 12:50

right first, inconclusive the second as was on the line and wrong the third!

Bumblelion · 30/06/2008 12:52

Right on all 3 times for me.

Ambi · 30/06/2008 12:55

Yes it did, but I disregarded it as I thought I was having a boy.

MKG · 30/06/2008 12:58

Correct both times
