Private C-section in the southwest? Exeter / Bath / Bristol

Hi all, I'm planning an elective section and despite lots of googling I'm coming to the conclusion that this service might not be available privately in the SW (Exeter preferable but Bath and Bristol would also be fine, open to other ideas too!).

The 'Womens Healthcare' section on the Royal Devon Private Healthcare site appears to be a dead page, and the University Hospital Bristol NHS Trust private section seems to have very little information on anything.

Spire and Nuffield don't appear to offer maternity services.

I'm struggling to find anything definitive... If I have to go to London then I have to go to London but would obviously rather not have to face the drive back afterwards! Is there anywhere I'm missing (or anything I'm completely oblivious to!)? Has anyone here had a private C-section somewhere in the southwest?

I’m up north and was in the same position. There are no hospitals outside of London that offer this privately. My husband was very keen to go private in London but after looking into it and wanting to have my anti natal care locally we ended up having an elective section at my local nhs hospital. We had a super positive experience and I definitely recommend Csectionuk on Instagram she is a midwife who offers a course which prepared me so so well for both the c-section and recovery.

Thank you so much for that tip! I'll give her a follow.

Yes sadly I don't think it exists, this was more of a just-in-case-Im-being-thick post - you never know unless you ask!

I don't think there are any private hospitals that have maternity services outside of London. There are private consultants that offer private services within their local NHS hospitals including C-sections. I'm not sure about Bristol or the rest of the southwest, but I'm reasonably sure Birmingham and Oxford do. Little bit closer to home at least.
