Wondering if anyone has any experiences of this (positive or negative) - especially in terms of amount of blood loss in the c-section vs the vaginal birth? Were you met with push back for your decision?

Hiya I've had 4 dc 3x vb and 1 Cs I'd had 2 pph and so requested a Cs for my 4th baby. I did get alot of push back I'm overweight and I was 37 so they didn't like that! But I stuck to my guns and had one it was a much better experience no bleeding a quick recovery and so much calmer I had a whole team to myself rather than one stressed and over stretched midwife.

I had 2 vaginal births (one induced) and an elcs in between for a breech baby. I lost a lot of blood in the elcs, close to needing a transfusion. No issues with vaginal births.
