Hi all!

Basically I gave birth nine months ago and since then have had thrush 7 times. I have been tested for diabetes but am clear. I have never had thrush before having a baby so was wondering if it is a hormonal thing? I have also still got bleeding gums nine months later! Has anyone had a similar experience? WOuld appreciate any replies!!

i got thrush loads of times in the first year after having ds, are you bf? could be hormonal, i stopped getting it when i stopped feeding (at 18 mo)

my gums never stopped bleeding (when brushing) after ds, 4 years and counting, dentist not interested!

mum2oandh I am still breastfeeding so I guess it may be connected with that though I wouldnt have made the connection myself. I've read a few threads about other things that breastfeeding affects that I didnt know about. As for the gums as long as my teeth arent about to fall out I can live with it ; )
