Hi all,

Im 7 weeks postpartum and I had a relatively issue free csection

I found early October that when I went for a wee I felt likeni could go for a wee almost straight after...I felt that for about a week or so and it disappeared or at least I stopped noticing it.

I've noticed that feeling of needing a wee straight after going to the loo is back again and was worse yesterday. I had to go within 15mins but could hold on as long as 3.5hours. I have been drinking a lot of water so I wonder if I'm just drinking a lot...my wee is clear/pale yellow

I don't have any UTI symptoms. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had all sorts of weird wee feelings after my sections. after about 3-4 months I was back to normal

Thanks @Tammygirl12 did you have the feeling if needing a wee even after going? It's almost like my bladder isn't emptying or something making the tingling sensation. I'm so stressed and worried 😟 hoping this isn't life now. I didnt have this with my 1st csection so it's caught me by surprise. I've tested for UTI and don't think it's that

Did you do anything to get back to normal

Also realised I'm 8 weeks yesterday

Bump.
13 weeks postpartum and still feeling this
It slightly improved for a couple of weeks but it's become more intense and frequent again

Any advice appreciated as it's really affecting my mental health

Not sure but have you looked into tight pelvic floor symptoms
I had this feeling alittle sometimes but went away after awhile
Might not be fully emptying your bladder due to tightness you end up naturally sqeezeing and have to unlearn

I had this after my last section. Doc advised me to reach don and touch my toes after I feel like I’m finished and should help anything that hasn’t come out to come out. Lasted for a few months but then went.

I had this even up to a year later although I had a bad catheterisation experience which caused me some damage. Ended up having a cystoscopy which showed nothing. Has mostly settled now - three years on! Push to be checked out by your GP if you’re worried though.
