Go on, rain on my parade I am now thinking that labour will be soon (as in today) but how long have you been told all is favourable before going into labour? She said it could be 12 hours or it could still be days. I am choosing to believe the former

Great dilating LL

My friend was like this for two weeks. Not what you want to hear, but like the MW said - you never know!

I had a sweep at 1:30 on Monday and DD was born at 1:26pm on Tuesday .

Labour started at 6:45 am on the Tuesday morning.

Hate to rain on your parade, but I was told I'd be in labour by the end of the day at about 38 weeks, 41 weeks I was induced!

It is all looking good though

sagitta · 05/06/2008 11:17

mm, not going to answer as it would definitely rain on your parade,.. good luck!

nancy75 · 05/06/2008 11:19

had a sweep at 2cm at 11am, dd was born 9am the following day.
labour was 3 hours

This is db2, with dd I had a sweep at term +10 and nothing happened. I am 40+4 today. Sweep was nowhere near as painful as last time, but still a, erm, interesting sensation I didn't ask for my bishops score, but my notes say my cervix is 'mid/posterior' does this mean anything? I am going to stay in for a bit til the soreness calms down a bit and then go for a walk. I am desperate to avoid induction again. Have been booked for another sweep on Sunday, but fingers crossed I will be home with a new baby by then
