I have developed a thrombosed pile from pushing in labour. It is the worst pain ever! I’m on day 4 today and I walk or get comfy at all. It’s huge, hard and purple/black 😢 when am I going to feel normal again?!

I had this at the end of pregnancy (43 weeks), it was like a bunch of black grapes hanging out my arse - it was throbbing constantly and was total and utter agony. This was 25 years ago and I still remember it. What worked for me was going to the GP and he cut them/lanced them (poor bugger) there and then. The relief was intense and immediate. I let out an involuntary moan of utter relief. Also witchhazel. That soothed afterwards. But yeh get them lanced - vital id say.

It took me two weeks of suppositories and cream three times a day to make mine shrink back down.
