VBAC stories and time between deliveries

So backstory, I was talked into having an elective c section in December 2024 due to what turned out to be incorrect scan measurements that identified my son's head as an abnormally large size . He is my first baby, the pregnancy was fine and the c section which was carried out before labour was a success. He was born with a head circumference of 36 so totally normal! Anyways. I had spent the whole pregnancy preparing for a natural birth, I always wanted to go natural and did a lot of mental preparation and reading etc for that to be changed last minute. I still feel bitter about it but I'm beyond grateful that despite the unwanted and unnecessary section, my son was delivered to me safely. We want to start trying for a baby next February, so that would make it 22/23 months between deliveries at the earliest. Is this an acceptable gap to attempt Vbac? I cannot remember the interval that the hospital recommended to me but we do want children fairly close together and I am adamant on not having another section unless it's actually medically needed. Please can you share your Vbac stories (the good and the bad), whether you had a successful Vbac or not and what the time interval was between c section and Vbac! Thanks in advance

Very long time ago now but baby 1 emergency section. Baby 2 21 months later vbac successful but was induced so it was a daytime birth and did need forceps. Baby 3 23 months after that, successful vbac
