VBA2C I'm going to view the hospital notes for my first birth- not sure what to expect

I know I probably sound daft, but what should I be looking for? The hospital are giving the impression it's a reasonably large file. Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks for everyone's advice.
Basically I have phoned my new consultant's secretary and she is going to do her best to get my notes from ST Mary's sent over in time for my 20 week scan appointment and the MW will go through them with me. She has told me that sometimes it takes weeks and weeks to get them from St Mary's, this doesn't surprise me. If they are not there by 25th June she'll call me when they do arrive and make an appointment for me to be seen straight away. She sounded really helpful, so I am feeling quite positive about it, and apprehensive!

Hurrah! That sounds really positive. BTW my notes were found and faxed over in under three hours when the consultant stomped his foot a bit (after I stomped my foot a bit).

It's funny, I can stomp my foot for my children and I've been doing I'm lately fir my MIL with her consultant, but I find it really hard doing it for me. I glad I'm getting the hang of it, though. It felt good asking for what I wanted to be done for me. I was able to say I''ve been informed I'm entitled to...so on and so forth..and it really worked!
