EDD here and no due signs - far from it (I feel terrific!)

Hello all,

My EDD is 3rd June (tomorrow). My baby was checked on Friday and her head was just 2/5th palpable so my doctor thought I should start labour this week. Until last week I was getting tired and twinges and pelvic pressure and lower back pain, but then since last week nothing - I feel great! I have energy, very little pelvis pressure (even though the baby is engaged), no twinges, very few Braxton Hicks (that I can notice anyway - perhaps I am getting used to them), no twinges or back pain. I am getting increased vaginal discharge but no pinkness there at all.

I thought as I got closer to my EDD I would et more signs than this.

Any advice or thoughts or experiences?

My due date was last friday and I'm the same as you apart from the tiredness thing. I am considering asking for a sweep this week to get things moving along though.

Enjoy these last few days! The fact that you are feeling great is a good sign - I think I had more energy just before I gave birth. Not everyone has braxton hicks and a show before going into labour.

Thanks Belgo. I really do hope the more energy thing is a sign of imminent labour because I sure am bored now!

I'm due on sat 7th and bored already. Woke up couple of nights ago feeling really sick and thought I was about to vomit for about an hour, then nothing.
Lots of pelvic pressure now, increase discharge, "tightenings" around my tummy which I'm assuming are braxton hicks, and a plethora of twinges and strange aches. Was hoping this meant things were imminent but maybe not??
