Birth before 36 weeks

Hello
I am 34 weeks pregnant with my third baby and looking for any women who have a similar history to me and whether they ended up giving birth before 36 weeks.
I am 34 weeks pregnant but since 30 weeks have had two positive tests showing a high risk of pre term delivery (Actim Partus and Fetal Fibronectin). I also now have a shortened cervix and lost my mucus plug on Sunday at 33+4. The good news is my cervix is closed. I've had lots of cramping and back ache for weeks.
I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar history to this and ended up labouring early? I'm worried about every small difference, and my first two pregnancies didn't cause anything like this.
Thanks!

I had a shocker emcs at 34.5 weeks. Ds was absolutely fine. Under a light for jaundice but breastfed on day 1 and home at 1 week old.

I had a 34 weeker after my waters broke at 33 weeks.

Labour didn’t start so I was induced which wasn’t very nice. Ended up with a section.

He was in SCBU for 10 days. Breastfed for 18 months. He’s 15 now and fine, no long term issues.

Wishing you the best.

That's really good to know, I've worried about how she will be if she does come soon xx

@inapicklebrine I mean, he was absolutely tiny! I remember noticing that he didn’t even have nipples! He was 4lbs 14.5oz. He had an NG tube for a while, and I expressed colostrum.

I came after 2 nights and then we came back every day, all day, until he was discharged. In a way, it was quite nice for me to go home every night and properly recover.

He ended up being a real lovely easy baby. He grabbed a Yorkshire pudding off my plate at 6 months old Grin

Keep us updated?

Bless him, DD measured 4lb4oz at 32 weeks, so I'm eating everything in the hope it'll fatten her up a bit!
I'll definitely keep the thread updated xx
