Waters have gone and contractions are 3 mins apart, in a lot of pain
waiting for the CTG to be signed off and then hoping I can get my epidural and this baby boy will be born safely very soon

Baby was born less than an hour after I made this post and only 9 minutes after getting into a delivery suite room, the midwives weren’t looking and out he came!!!!! In only 2 pushes 🤣🤣

No I didn’t and it was agony but at least it was a quick labour.

madness as we don’t take teeth out without pain relief, why women aren’t given the relief they ask for promptly is beyond me. I was asking for one for 1.5 hours

Insane isn’t it? From what I remember from having my youngest, 4cm was the magic number for them to let me have an epidural. Great, as long as you’re not one of these women that go from 0 to 100 in super quick time! But as you say, the silver lining with that is at least it was over fairly quickly for you! Hope you’re enjoying newborn snuggles x
