I turn 45 this month and am due to be induced this Friday at exactly 38 weeks with a shock and surprise pregnancy 😆♥️
This little baby has been breech for months and months so we were all set for a c-section… but today’s scan shows she’s flipped head down! Consultant did an internal (plus a little sweep) and I’m apparently already 1.5cm dilated. 😳
Honestly never thought we’d get this far. We’ve had more losses than I can count (well, definitely into double digits) and it’s been the longest and sometimes hardest road. DH is 50, and she’s our first together, we’re pinching ourselves that this is really happening.
I’ve been in hospital the last couple of days for reduced movements, being let home now but back Friday for induction. I’m utterly terrified of induction tbh. Since the sweep I’ve got lower back pain and some tummy niggles so who knows, maybe she has her own plan!
Wish me luck, I think I’m going to need it. ❤️
